Instead, professionals use an aggregate mix known as "crusher run" or "dense grade." This mix combines angular, crushed stone with fine rock dust. When compacted, the jagged edges of the stones lock together, while the fine dust acts like cement, binding the surface into a hard, dense crust that sheds water flawlessly.
